Mango Orange Spicy Margarita Recipe

This spicy margarita recipe is a great drink to mix up at your next summer party. Orange juice, mango’s and ice are mixed with tequila, triple sec and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce for a delicious mix of refreshing citrus and spicy hot sauce. Garnish your spicy margarita with jalapeno slices for an extra kick.

Mango Orange Spicy Margarita Recipe

Summertime is the perfect time to invite friends and family over for a get-together. With the 4th of July coming up why not host a little fiesta for your loved ones and enjoy some drinks?  I’ve been brewing up lots of tasty cocktails this spring and summer and today’s recipe packs just the right amount of heat. It features Frank’s RedHot Sauce as one of the main ingredients. Frank’s RedHot Original is the most versatile sauce that can be used for a wide variety of dish types. Frank’s RedHot Buffalo is perfect for summer.

I like to get creative in the kitchen and today’s recipe is a Mango Orange Spicy Margarita with Frank’s RedHot Buffalo sauce! I know what you’re thinking, “Hot sauce in a mango orange margarita? Adrienne, you’re nuts!”

I promise you it is really tasty. Frank’s RedHot Sauce is the perfect combination of flavor and heat.

Spicy Margarita Recipe- Serves 2

Ingredients for Orange Mango Spicy Margarita:

  • 1 Jalapeno pepper
  • 1 oz Simple syrup
  • 2 oz Lime juice
  • 2 oz of Orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Salt, Coarse
  • 3 oz Tequila
  • 3 oz Triple sec
  • ½ Ripe Mango (skin & pit removed, and cubed)
  • Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce, add 3-5 dashes or to taste
  • 10 ice cubes

Directions for Spicy Margarita

  • Prep your glasses by dipping the rim in Frank’s RedHot Buffalo Sauce and then coat it in pink Himalayan salt. Set the glasses aside.
  • In a blender mix the orange juice, mango, lime juice, simple syrup, tequila, triple sec and ice.
  • Pour into two margarita glasses and then drizzle a little Frank’s RedHot sauce on top.
  • Garnish with jalapeno slices.

Gnome Tip: If you don’t have any simple syrup on hand you can easily make your own by mixing a cup of white granulated sugar with a cup of boiling water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and let cool.
