DIY Terrarium Toadstools

toadstool5

Last year I did my take on the Ikea Rast Makeover. I ended up choosing new knobs for my cabinets after I stained them. I had a bunch of  little knobs left over and they had been sitting with some leftover screws and tools in my laundry room for the longest time. After coming across them again I noticed that the knobs are kind of the shape of little mushrooms, and thus this quick DIY was born.

I painted them white and let them completely dry, then used some painters tape to block off the bottom and painted the tops red. Then I added little dots to the top. Pretty simple.

Then I screwed in some old screws to the bottom so that they would have something to stick into the soil.

Tada! Easy peasy lemon squeezey!
