Holiday bathroom decor
The holidays are quickly approaching and that means friends and family will be coming to visit and celebrate. Part of being a great host is making sure your guests feel comfortable in your home.
I tend to go a little crazy with decorating for the holidays and today I’m sharing a tour of my holiday bathroom decor.
No guest bathroom is complete without a bottle of Poo~Pourri on hand. Poo~Pourri transforms your bathroom experience (and those who come in after you) by stopping bathroom odor before it begins. And it actually works. Trust me, I tested it (TMI?).
Here’s how it works: When spritzed into the toilet bowl before-you-go,Poo~Pourri’s pure blend of natural essential oils creates a film on the surface of the water. The protective barrier traps odor under the surface, before it ever begins! No embarrassing smells, just refreshing essential oils.
I ordered several bottles of Poo~Pourri online. Poo~Pourri has received over 5,000 5 star reviews with 40MM bottles sold and orders over $19.95 ship free!
I’m always drawn to the natural scents of essential oils. I especially love anything with mint, citrus and lavender in them so I purchased the following three products:
- Merry Spritzmas® – Peppermint, vanilla and citrus.
- Secret Santa – Cinnamon, vanilla and citrus.
- Lavender Vanilla- Lavender, vanilla and citrus
Poo~Pourri the Before-You-Go® Toilet Spray, is the first natural, truly effective solution to a universal problem: poo happens, and it stinks!

I hauled out the decorations and got to work. I started with the mirror and sink area. I added an easy-to-make paper chain, stocking on the wall and a poinsettia on the counter-top.
Stockings were hung on the shower curtain with care. Extra ornaments are another decoration you can easily hang onto the shower curtain hooks.
On the window I added another paper chain and filled a wooden bowl with colored balls. This is easy and festive, plus your kids will have fun making the paper chains with you.
I added some pine cones to the cabinet above the toilet and adorned it with a fun Frosty the Snowman hat and a little squirrel.
