I’ve noticed that there are two types of people: the ones who like classy white Christmas lights and the ones that like fun multicolored Christmas lights. I’ve always been a fan of the white classy lights but my husband and daughter like the colorful rainbow lights. Since I’m out numbered two to one, we always have the multicolored lights on our tree.
We’ve lived in our little house for about 13 years now and because we live out in the countryside we don’t have many cars or people going past our house. I haven’t really bothered to decorate the outside of my home in years past. I like to go all out with the interior decorations because we spend so much time inside this time of year. This year I decided it was time to bring some Christmas cheer to my front porch. Even if not many people will see the results it’s still nice to decorate and make your space nice as a treat for yourself.
was approached by Elegear to try out their Christmas lights and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Around the railing I went with the Marchpower Connectable Strawberry Christmas lights. These lights emit the perfect glow leading up the stairs to the front door. I feel like they almost have a retro feel to them that remind me of the lights we had on my Christmas tree as a child. These lights are waterproof and are suitable for indoors or outdoors.
Around the door frame I installed the Quntis LED decorative Christmas lights. These are also appropriate for indoor or outdoor use. There is a button on the cord that you can use to switch which colors shine and how the lights blink. There are a total of 8 settings for this set so you can choose your favorite.
Here are a couple close up shots of the two different lights. They look absolutely beautiful in person.

I’m so pleased with how the exterior of my home is looking this holiday season that I wish I had been decorating with these lights all along.
Head over and order your lights now, there’s plenty of time to decorate before Christmas.
Let me know in the comments, are you a fan of white lights or do you like the multicolored ones?
