Pink Grapefruit Smoothie
Is it Friday yet? Nope, not even close! Give yourself a mid-week wake up with this Pink Grapefruit smoothie.
This week’s smoothie is a yummy blend of citrus and banana. The grapefruit adds a tart, sweet taste to a blend of strawberries and banana.
Pink or Ruby Red grapefruit
1 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup orange juice
Toss the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
You may find a whole grapefruit is too sour for your taste buds so add half first and do a taste test to see if it needs more. This grapefruit smoothie tastes best cold so make sure the strawberries are frozen and the OJ is chilled. This smoothie is very refreshing, it’s great on a hot humid summer morning.
