How to dry orange slices in the oven

If you don't have a food dehydrator you can dry oranges in your oven.

Ingredients

  • Oranges or other citrus
  • Parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to the lowest temperature it can go- or 120 degrees.
  2. Slice the orange slices as thin as you can, about ¼ of an inch thick.

  3. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
  4. Cook in the oven for 6-8 hours.
  5. You'll know the fruit is ready when it is hard and dry.

Recipe Notes

Try using other citrus like lemon or grapefruit.
