Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon of milk
  • Strawberry jam
  • Maple syrup
  • Cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon on a frying pan at medium to high heat. Once bacon is cooked remove it from the pan but do not drain the grease from the pan.

  3. Use the heart shaped cookie cutter, cut hearts into the slices of bread. Use the bread hearts in the next step and set aside the rest of the bread for later.

  5. Crack two eggs and whip them in a shallow bowl with a dash of milk.
  6. Dip both sides of the heart shaped bread in the egg batter and then fry in the bacon fat until the egg is cooked. Set aside.

  8. Take the pieces of bread with the hearts cut out and dip them in the egg and then place on the frying pan.
  9. Crack and egg into the center of the bread.

  11. Fry until egg is mostly cooked and then flip it over.
  12. Assemble plate with cooked bacon, heart shaped french toast and heart shaped toad in a hole.
  13. Spread strawberry jam on heart shaped french toast.
  14. Drizzle maple syrup on everything and add a light dusting of cinnamon sugar.
