Garlic Parmesan Knots

A quick and easy pairing for your soup is Parmesan garlic knots. These tasty bread bites are delicious and can be made in just a few minutes. I used ready to bake crescent roll dough straight out of the can and mixed it with butter, parsley, salt and dried spices.  I tied the dough pieces into knots and baked them to a golden brown.

  1. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  2. 2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
  3. 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  4. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  5. 1/2 teaspoon fresh parsley flakes
  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  7. 1 (16-ounce) tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough
  8. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  9. Melt the butter in a small bowl.
  10. In a small bowl mix the Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, and salt; set aside.
  11. Pop open the can of crescent rolls and pull apart the dough pieces. Place them in a bowl and pour the butter, spices and fresh parsley over the dough. Mix gently with your hands making sure all the dough is covered in the mixture.
  12. Take each dough piece and tie it into a knot. Place the knots onto a baking dish.
  13. Bake for approx 13 minutes or until golden brown.
  14. Let cool and serve with Idahoan Steakhouse potato soup.
