Dr Pepper Floats
- Dr Pepper
- Ice cream
- Strawberry syrup
- Whipped Cream
- Fresh Strawberries
Take a pint glass and drizzle strawberry syrup on the inside of the glass. Add 2-3 scoops of ice cream and fill the rest of the way with Dr Pepper. Add whipped cream to the top of the float.
Garnish with fresh strawberries.
Next, we’ll make popcorn balls.
- 1 bag of Orville Redenbacher’s® Popcorn
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- ½ cup corn syrup
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- 2 cups of mini marshmallows
Put the bag of popcorn in the microwave and cook according to directions.
After it is popped, leave it to cool while you cook the rest of the ingredients.
Combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt in a pan and cook on medium heat until it starts to boil. Stir constantly so it doesn’t burn. Then, take it off the burner and add the vanilla and baking soda.
Let the mixture cool until warm.
Pour the popcorn into a large bowl and drizzle the caramel mixture and stir it together. Stir in the marshmallows.Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and coat your hands in coconut or other baking oil. Scoop out some of the popcorn mixture and form it into 3 inch balls. The oil on your hands will prevent it from sticking.
Let the balls cool completely and serve with the Dr Pepper floats.
