The jumpsuit can be purchased from a hardware store or garden supply store or you can purchase the one above from Amazon. Boots, gloves and goggles are available at Walmart.
The goggles I used are night vision goggles. Why did we have a pair of night vision goggles lying around? I have no idea, but they worked perfectly for this costume.
I used regular superglue but a hot glue gun will also work. Once the glue is completely dry, spray the entire thing with black spray paint. Spray two coats and then let it sit overnight to dry.
The next day you can add you embellishments. Add bicycle reflectors, plastic lids to look like buttons, old wires and cables and battery operated Christmas lights.
I cut off the straps of an old backpack and used duct tape to secure them to the inside of the plastic bin, then I taped the vacuum hose and handle from the mop all together to look like the gun.
Depending on which version of the Ghostbusters costume you want to make you can add a few other accessories. In the new remake, the Ghostbuster women had orange reflective tape on their jumpsuits.
Both versions of the costume had the Ghostbusters logo patch on the arm. I didn't have time to order one but they do sell them on Amazon if you want to pick one of those up too.
