– ½ yard of faux fur – 2- 8x10 sheets of pink felt – White thread – 4 pink pipe cleaners – 2 beads for eyes

For the bottom “bag” part of the bunny simply trace a regular 8.5”x 11” sheet of computer paper onto the faux fur.

To make the ear shape fold a second sheet of paper in half lengthwise and then cut out a long oval from the middle of that sheet.

Tape the oval to the center of the full sheet and then use that as your pattern on the faux fur. Cut out two of these.

For the pink inner ear, take the same ear shape cut out described above and make a second one, this time inch smaller all the way around. Trace this oval on the pink felt. Cut of two of these.

Place the pink felt cut outs on the center of the “wrong” side of each faux fur piece and flip the fur onto the felt, pinning it in place. Pin a one inch seam along the top edge of both of the pieces.

Sew the seam down and the pink felt ears into place. Next, place both pieces “right” side together so that the pink ears are facing out and sew up the sides and bottom of the bag. Flip the bag inside out.

Find the center of one side of the bag to make the bunny’s face. Twist four pieces of pipe cleaner together and sew the center of them onto the bag for the bunny’s whiskers.

Cut out a heart shape for the bunny’s nose and glue or sew it on top of the pipe cleaners. Sew on two bead for eyes.

Now fill up your bag with treats and tie the ears together so that they flop down.
