DIY GNOME

MATERIALS:

1 pair wool socks1 pair nylons2 cups of sand12 inches of wool roving

MATERIALS:

1 package of polyfil stuffing1 yard of plaid fabric12 inches of 20 gauge craft wire2 two inch Christmas balls

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut the feet off the nylons about 12 inches from the toe. 2. Fill them with 2 cups of sand. Tie the top of the nylon so the sand doesn't spill out.

3. Insert the sand filled nylon into the sock.

4. Fill up the inside of the sock on top of the nylon with polyester stuffing. Keep stuffing the sock until it is about 6 inches tall.

5. Tie the top of the sock in a knot and pull the free end of the sock over the knot.

6. Pull three pieces of wool roving 4-6 inches long to make the beard and mustache.

7. Use hot glue to secure it under the top of the rolled over sock.

8. Make the nose by taking a golf ball sized piece of poly stuffing and wrapping a piece of leftover nylon over it. Tie the end of the nylon so the stuffing doesn't come out.

9. Glue the nose under the sock like you did with the wool roving. 10. Cut a large triangle to make the hat.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. lace the two good sides together and hot glue the fabric together leaving a hole at the very tip of the hat. 2. Flip hat inside out.

3. Take the wire and wrap it around the Christmas ornament.

4. Feed the wire through the hat and glue the fabric at the tip of the hat to the ornament so it stays in place.
