Maybe you’re getting ready to decorate some eggs for Easter this week or maybe you just like eating hard boiled eggs. Whatever the reason here is the step by step way to cook the perfect hard boiled egg every time.
Place your eggs in a pot with cold water. Water should be one or two inches higher than the eggs in the pot.
Bring the water to a rolling boil, then cover and remove eggs from heat for exactly 12 minutes
After the 12 minutes are up remove the eggs from the hot water and place them in a bowl with cold water until eggs are cool .
Store in the fridge for up to one week.
