New Year’s Eve Party Inspiration
Hey Gnomies,
I don’t know about you, but I am sooo ready for 2017. I actually had a really great 2016 to be honest. I accomplished a lot, traveled all over the world and some great things happened. Even though the past year was pretty rad there is something about the start of a new year and the chance to have a fresh start that makes me feel so good.
I feel like I was just warming up in 2016 and 2017 is definitely going to be my year to kick butt. I have a pretty clear vision of where I want to go with my life and business this year, so hopefully this blog and my jewelry shop will continue to get better and better.
I put together a New Year’s Eve party tablescape to give you some inspiration if you are planning a shindig this weekend. Check out some of my ideas:
The sign on the wall was made out of black construction paper and the “0” is a wall clock. If you are wondering why the clock looks funny it’s because it’s a 24 hour clock that tells military time.
I bought most of my supplies from the dollar store. The golden tinsel under the plates are little Christmas wreaths and the silver stars hung on the walls are paper plates.
New Year’s Eve isn’t complete without a couple glasses of champagne, or in this case rosé! Layer black dishes and tablecloths with silver and gold accessories for a glam NYE theme.
Snack foods are perfect for NYE parties. Have guests serve themselves buffet style with everything laid out on a long table.
Homemade Goof Balls are a fun treat. Take marshmallows, dip them in melted caramels and then roll them in Rice Krispies.
Make a similar recipe with popcorn by mixing melted caramel with the popcorn and adding mixed nuts.
For fun have your guests write out their resolutions on a piece of paper. Everyone folds up their resolution and tosses it into the jar.
Send home guests with little goodie boxes filled with treats like chocolates.
How are you celebrating NYE this year? Do you have any resolutions? Let me know in the comments!
