Movie Night Party Inspiration
A couple of weeks ago I shared how I use the data from my Samsung On5 Mobile phone on the Walmart Family Mobile plan for my small business. Today I’m talking about how I can use my phone to stream movies with the VUDU app to my TV with Chromecast and some of my best ideas for hosting a family movie night.
It’s tax season, and the perfect time to stretch your tax refund dollars with the Samsung On5 on the Walmart Family Mobile Plan. The plan includes Unlimited* Talk, Text, & Data. Which *includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE then 2G and a free movie credit on VUDU every month ($7 value, same as a new release rental) for $49.88 per month, per line. That’s a ton of data for to use for watching movies, social media or searching the web for ideas for your next party.
Today I am going to show some of my favorite ideas for hosting a movie night. The theme of this party is Hollywood Movie Night.
I cut letters out of regular white paper to make a “Hollywood” sign over the table and hung movie themed string decorations from the ceiling behind the table.
A black table cloth and movie reel table runner serve a base for the table decor. Star shaped plates and gold wreaths add sparkle to the table.
Individual popcorn containers help to achieve the “movie theater” feeling. Set out your guests favorite candies and licorice to snack on during the movie. Photo booth props do double duty as table decor.
Tacos are a great meal idea for parties because you can set out the ingredients buffet-style and guests can add their favorite toppings.
I made an easy photo booth by attaching a gold fringe curtain to the wall and set out some fun props to take pictures with.
How do you like to celebrate family movie night? How are you stretching your tax refund dollars this year? Let me know in the comments and make sure you check out the Walmart Family Mobile plan at your next trip to Walmart.
