Girls Night In Party
When was the last time you had a girls night out? It’s been a while right? If you can’t seem to get out of the house for a night out with your girls, why not invite your girlfriends over and bring the party to your house?
Today I’m sharing my best ideas for a fun girls night in with seafood, sparkling water or wine and a fun wine glass charm craft.
Food and Drink
I love seafood and many types of seafood are easy and convenient to serve at parties.
I picked up a tray of ready made sushi rolls and some smoked salmon to serve with crackers.
Along with fresh fruit, tortilla chips and other hors d’oeuvres, I cooked up shrimp stir fry for the main dish.
Shrimp Stir Fry Recipe
Sautée 1 pound of shrimp in vegetable oil with 1 tsp of garlic, and 1 tsp ground ginger.
Once the shrimp are cooked, add 4 cups of frozen mixed veggies with noodles (you can find this in the frozen vegetable section at Safeway) to the pan. Add 1/4 cup of soy sauce and 3 tablespoons of honey.
I chose to serve rosé and smartwater sparkling. Instead of serving plain ice water at your next dinner party, elevate your dining experience with smartwater sparkling instead. This innovative, modern water is vapor distilled with electrolytes for taste. You can find it at Safeway.
Wine Glass Charm Craft
Aside from eating, drinking and listening from music with your girlfriends, it’s also fun to do some craft projects at your next party.
Wine glass charms are quick and easy to make with just a few supplies. Here’s what you need:
- 20 gauge craft wire
- round nose pliers
- wire cutters
To make the wine glass charms:
Cut about 4 inches of wire per charm. Bend it into a loop and string on beads and metal charms. Use your round nose pliers to make loops on the ends.
Hang one from the stem of your wine glass so your know which glass is yours.
