Crochet Easter Basket
Easter is almost here! One of our favorite Easter traditions is hunting for eggs and treats that the Easter Bunny hides in our home each year.
This tutorial uses trendy, giant yarn to make a fun crochet Easter basket using a recycled flower pot.
It’s a great crochet project for newbie crocheters or advanced fiber artists. For this basket you will need to know how to do the following stitches: Chain, slip stitch and half double crochet.
While you are out getting craft supplies, make sure you stop over at Sam’s Club to purchase some treats to help fill your crochet Easter basket. Sam's Club is the Easter destination to shop early and stock up this spring for all of the mini moments. The Mars Spring Mix includes mini versions of your favorite Easter snacks like, M&M’S®, TWIX®, SNICKERS®, MILKY WAY®, and 3 MUSKETEERS ®. They are the perfect size to slip into plastic Easter eggs or share all on their own.

Now it’s time to make the handle.
Chain 20, then turn and single crochet all the way back down the chain. Cut the yarn and tie it off. Tie the free end of the handle to the opposite end of the basket. Weave in the loose end and tuck it into the basket.
