To really feel the Christmas spirit, you need to experience from the moment you wake. There’s no better way to do that than to adorn your room with Christmas decorations. Try these fun Christmas bedroom decor ideas and transform your bedroom into a scene from the North Pole for the holidays.

Do you decorate parts of your house for Christmas that aren’t the main living area?
I’ve shown you different parts of my house in the past that I decorated for the holiday season. Like my hallway and bathroom.
Today I’m sharing how I transformed my hygge-style bedroom into a cozy holiday hideaway.
Decorating rooms in your home for Christmas might seem a little strange but as far as I’m concerned the holidays only come around once a year, so why not have fun with it and go a little crazy?
Here are some snaps of my cozy Christmas bedroom decor. If you need me I’ll be hibernating here until January!

I started by layering my bed with a new plaid comforter and lots of fluffy pillows. The more pillows, the better- especially if they are made with faux fur.
The comforter set and Stay Cozy pillow is from Cuddl Duds at Kohls.
The other pillows are from Urban Outfitters.

On the bedside I added a simple red poinsettia plant and a gnome that is actually a candle if you take his hat off. You might recognize him from my Christmas bathroom tour. He has a brother that has been living on the bathroom counter for the past couple of weeks.
The lamp is from Target.
The little clock is from Urban Outfitters
The Gnome candle is from my local grocery store.

Above the big wooden dresser is a collection of snow globes. Some belong to my mother in law who is spending the winter down south and some are a new ones we bought this year. I flanked them with two faux red poinsettias and a couple of simple white trees.
The mirror is from Michaels.
The poinsettias are from Joanne Fabric.
The white trees are from Target.
The snow globes are from my mothers in law’s personal collection and Earthbound Trading.

Hanging above the bed is this fun kissing ball I made. Check out the full instructions on how to make one here.

This is my black kitty, Bread. She loves to hang out on the bed and when I throw a sheepskin rug onto the foot of the bed, shes inclined to make like the pillow behind her and stay cozy all day.
You’ll notice beside the bed behind the cat is a full sized white Christmas tree. A tree in the bedroom might seem like a bit overkill, but I love it.
I actually bought it for Halloween to make a Halloween tree. After Halloween was over I moved it right into the bedroom and changed up some of the ornaments.
