School is starting this week, and I’m not sure who is more excited my daughter, Chloe or me. Chloe will be starting 1st grade, and we are getting ready to meet her teacher in a few days.
The adjustment of getting up early and getting back into a routine is always tough. Let’s face it- no one in our family is a morning person. We love to take our sweet time relaxing in the morning and slowly start our day.
The beginning of a new school year is always a nice fresh start. Getting new school clothes and supplies and catching up with old friends you haven’t seen all summer is so much fun.
To get ready for school, Chloe and I went on a shopping trip to Walmart to stock up on all the necessities we need to have a smooth transition back to early mornings and long days in class.
Chloe’s school collects Box Tops so I’m always on the lookout for products with the Box Top logo on top.
From 6/24/19-9/8/19, you can receive Double Box Tops at Walmart! This offer is exclusive to Walmart so hurry in and take advantage of this great deal!
All you have to do is purchase Box Top products at Walmart, download the app at BTFE.com, scan your receipt in the app within 14 days of purchase and your school will earn double Box Tops!
It’s easy, and I’m so excited that Box Tops have gone digital. No more collecting a big stack of them and hoping they don’t get lost on the way to school.
There are a ton of eligible products that you need to purchase for your family this school year anyway, so it makes sense to head to Walmart and get double Box Tops for your school.
Now that we have all the supplies we need to get the school year off to a good start we can focus on getting ready mentally.
Getting back into a routine after a relaxing summer can be a challenge, but I’ve got a plan in place to make it a smooth transition.
I’ve been adjusting bedtimes so that we are getting up earlier every day and going to bed sooner in hopes that it’s not a huge shock on the first day when we have to get up super early to catch the bus on time.
I’ve also got Chloe in daycare a few days leading up to the first day of school. I think it’s helpful to get her used to a classroom environment and being around new kids.
How are you getting ready for the new school year? Let me know in the comments and make sure you take advantage of double Box Tops at Walmart for all your back-to-school shopping.
