Hope you had a great week. I spent mine cooped up at home trying to stay warm. We had another winter storm over the weekend. Just when I thought the worst of winter was over and spring would be on the way soon, that stupid groundhog announced 6 more weeks of winter and that little rodent does not mess around.
We got dumped on with at least 12 inches of snow which is practically unheard of in the Pacific Northwest. Our power went out on Saturday morning which means no heat in the house and also no running water because we are on a well. We couldn’t go anywhere because the roads were too dangerous and my car that I crashed before Christmas is still in the shop (!) I am borrowing my dad’s car and wrecking someone else’s car is 100x worse than crashing your own, so I have been staying home.
In reality, I realize these are very “First World” problems. There is nothing wrong with a little power outage and not having access to the internet every once and a while, but it makes it impossible for me to get any work done so I have been very frustrated. Our power and utilities at home are back up but the internet is still down. I am working from our local library right now, haha.
I created this blog post on how to make yourself a hair mask that will make your tired, dull, dry winter hair; shiny, moisturized and lush. Best of all it uses ingredients you can find right now in your kitchen.
So head on over to Target Made Me Do It and get the simple recipe for this winter hair mask, and if you like it make sure you share that post on social media.
Stay warm and cozy my friends. I’ll see you next week with a new winter hat tutorial. Because with this weather you will definitely be needing a warm winter hat!
