How many times have you been ready to paint your toes or fingernails but couldn't get the nail polish bottle open? Isn't it always your favorite color that you just spent 10 minutes tracking down that seems to have been "glued" shut. No matter how strong you are that sucker is not going to open. This happened to me so many times until one day I learned a little trick that will have your polish bottle open with very minimal effort. I used to be an esthetician and worked at day spas doing manis and pedis and massages and that kind of thing. At one spa I worked at, the brand of polish we used always ended up fusing the bottle shut. My boss showed me a trick to get it open. Hot water. Run the faucet until you get the hottest water possible (almost boiling if you can) and fill a mug up with the hot water. Place the bottle in upside down for about 5 minutes. After you take the bottle out (carefully!) it should open up really easily. If it's still stuck try it again with a new batch of hot water or place the bottle directly in the sink and let the water run over it for a few minutes.
Give the bottle a gentle roll between your hands and you're ready paint your little piggies!
