Mint Iced Green Tea
Summer is here and it's hot hot hot outside! If your looking for a cool refreshing treat try this yummy iced tea recipe. You can make it with alcohol for a fun cocktail or without booze for a yummy treat anytime.
Ingredients:
Green tea
Mint leaves
Sugar or sweetener
Lime juice
Ice
Light Rum (optional)
Steep a cup of green tea and let it cool. In a separate glass take a few mint leaves and tear a couple of them up. Place them in the bottom of the glass with a teaspoon of sugar. I use stevia sweetener. Take a spoon and mash them up a little to release the mint flavor. Fill the glass with a few iced cubes and if you want to add the rum add 1oz of it now. Fill the rest of the glass with the green tea and a squeeze a little fresh lime juice.
Cheers!

This recipe sounds simple enough for me to try it. I must admit I have never made my own iced tea before but I guess it's time to stop buying it anyway! Thanks for sharing :)
