Easy Silhouette Art

Silhouette art projects have been popular for quite a while and I wanted to try my own version of the trend with silhouettes of myself and my husband to hang in our bedroom. When I was in elementary school we made silhouettes using the overhead projector in the classroom. Since  I don't have a projector I figured out an easier way to do it - using photographs!

Have your model stand against a blank wall and take a profile photograph of them. Use Photoshop to to size the picture and print it out. Then cut out the profile shot and trace it onto scrapbook paper.

The frame I used is 12x12 inches which was the exact size of the scrapbook paper so it fit perfectly.

You can make silhouettes of your family, friends or even your pets!

How do you think they turned out?
