Embarrassing Story Time

This isn't one of my usual blogging topics but it's a pretty funny story I thought you might get a giggle out of. I hope this never happens to you...

Last weekend was my friends bridal shower. I had a few things to pick up before heading to the party so I made a quick stop into Safeway. I cruised through the parking lot and spotted a spot right near the entrance. There was a piece of garbage in the middle of the spot but I didn't think much of it at the time. I drove into the parking space and my front right wheel hit the piece of garbage and whatever it was exploded all over the car in front of me and beside me. Fortunately my car was left untouched

I turned off the engine and tried to figure out what the heck just sprayed all over the car parked in front of me. Was it ice cream?  Luckily I didn't see anyone in that car. Whew! I'll just slowly back out, find a new spot and it's like it never happened. Then I saw movement in the car. There was a man in the driver seat. Oh crap. He got out to inspect what I just sprayed all over his nicely washed silver Toyota 4 Runner.

I stepped out of my car.  "Uhhh what is that? " I inquired.
"Dirty diaper. Someone left a dirty diaper in the middle of the parking spot"

OMG I seriously could have died. I just sprayed baby crap all over this poor man's car. I apologized profusely. Luckily we were both laughing hysterically. He wasn't mad and said it obviously wasn't my fault. He had a bottle of water in the car and started trying to wash it off. I felt horrible. Since there wasn't anything else I could really do I just headed into the store to do my shopping. Luckily by the time I got back to the car he was gone and he hadn't done anything nasty to my car.

So, lesson learned folks, please don't ever drop a dirty diaper in a parking lot and if you see garbage in a parking spot just keep on driving!
